About The Role

We now have an opportunity for a highly motivated Technician to join our friendly and supportive team based in Redvale Energy Park and Landfill. In this role, you will be assisting with the smooth running of the generation plant at the Landfill.

What you will achieve:

• Completing all apprenticeship training block courses and workplace assessments required for apprentice training
• Completing eLearning modules as directed by the apprentice trainer
• Executing business strategy at optimal cost, timeframe and quality through the operational plan with our line management support
• Maintenance on generation plant, on flares and leachate evaporation unit as well as gas extraction system
• Monitoring all plant and keeping gas flow into the flare site constant and balanced and reporting problems if any

As an ideal apprentice you have:

• Pre-apprenticeship training course completed
• Valid and full drivers license
• Relevant mechanical experience (an advantage)
• General IT experience
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
