About the role

We are currently seeking a 6 months fixed-term Bin Audit Tagger to join our team in Christchurch. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, scanning and recording of RFID tags in kerbside bin.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Unloading waste collection vehicles on return to the depot or other nominated facility to make sure all products are placed in the correct bay/sorting area.
• Assisting in the cleaning and general maintenance of vehicles 
• Ensuring daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment are carried out 

To be successful in this role you will be physically fit and strong, and able to work in wet or sunny conditions. Our ideal candidate will have:

• Class 1 driver’s licence and experience in operating vehicles in congested areas
• Relevant experience in the waste industry (desirable)
• High attention to detail; strong verbal communication skills, and good understanding of operating procedures
• The ability to demonstrate self-motivation, attention to details, and strong time management skills
