About The Role
We now have opportunities for experienced Technicians to join our friendly and supportive team based in Redvale Energy Park and Landfill. In this role, you will be assisting with the smooth running of the generation plant at the landfill.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Routine maintenance on generation plant, flares and leachate evaporation unit and report any problems found
- Maintenance on gas extraction system, including blowers and pneumatic valves
- Engine rebuilds on V20 Jenbacher generator engines
- Monitoring and keeping the gas flow into the flare site constant and balanced between flares, leachate evaporator and generators
You will be a Certified Mechanic or have proven experience in a trade based roles (Fitter, Turner).
Skills and experience:
- Experience in working with internal combustion engines and in breakdown work;
- Prior knowledge and understanding of Landfill Gas, Pumps and Blowers
- Experience in fault finding
- Electrical knowledge (advantage)
- Valid and full NZ Driver’s Licence
- Ability to read drawings and follow wiring diagrams
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
