About the role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Supervisor to join our Technical Services team based in East Tamaki.

In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the company’s fleet and coordinate the transport services to meet our customers’ requirements.

Your exceptional customer service skills will help you to build effective relationship with our internal and external stakeholders. You will be managing our drivers, and also will contribute actively to our safety management to make sure we are in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of the team and work activities of our drivers
• Scheduling and coordinating vehicle maintenance
• Developing work instructions and training our staff in these activities
• Monitoring and reviewing the work group’s productivity and safety
• Identifying the needs of the business and implementing operational improvements
• Completing key compliance requirements including logbook and driver activity audits

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Relevant experience in a supervisory role preferably within the transport industry
• A valid NZ Class 4 license with DG endorsement
• Knowledge of HSWA legislation and Transport Regulations and or previous experience with HSEQ management systems (preferable)
