We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner based in Christchurch. Reporting to the National Manager, HR and Corporate Services and collaborating within a national team, you will provide professional support and pragmatic recommendations to the business, enhancing capability and making a tangible contribution to business performance, in an industrial environment. The current opportunity will be primarily responsible for the South Island division, with sites across the region.
What you will achieve:
Engaging with relevant managers and a diverse employee group, the role offers significant variety across the HR spectrum, balancing BAU with ownership of projects to continually elevate HR visibility and value from a wide range of initiatives.
You will develop and update HR policies and procedures as necessary, ensure compliance with relevant statutory legislation and industry best practice. You will be a trusted advisor on a wide range of employee and industrial relations matters, investigations, reorganizations, CEA bargaining and absence management.
