Operator - Transfer Station

We have an opportunity for an Operator to join the team at our Transfer Station in Levin. 

About the Role

In this role, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the safe and tidy operation of the transfer station and recycling area and assisting the public with general enquires while maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high-quality customer service. From previous experience, you'll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you'll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

Key responsibilities of the position will include: 

• Control incoming waste and recyclables and load out haulage vehicles
• Operate onsite plant and equipment
• Maintain a tidy workplace
• Undertake general labouring duties as required

To be successful in this role: 

• W,T,R endorsements 
• Previous loader and excavator operator experience would be an advantage however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
• A Forklift (OSH) licence is desirable
• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
