About the role
We have an opportunity for a supervisor to join our team based in Dunedin. In this role you will be responsible for the daily functions of the transfer station whilst also supporting the operational functions for the Dunedin branch. This is a hands on role with potential opportunities for the right candidate to develop into an operations career.
Key responsibilities of the position will include:
- Coordinating and carrying out the daily functions in the transfer station including the weighbridge, housekeeping, product sorting, bin building etc.
- Operating all mobile machinery and fixed plant equipment (e.g. forklift, front end loader)
- Loading of trucks and containers
- Maintaining housekeeping standards
- Completing all records and paperwork accurately
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Previous experience as a leading hand, team leader or supervisor in a similar environment
- WTR’s, forklift license (required)
- Class 2 license (desirable)
